BEX helps the study of two endangered species in Peru

The following is from Bennett Hennessy of Armonia, Bolivia:

Segundo Crespo with his BEX binoculars.

I was in Northwestern Peru to discuss a conservation research project on 8 endangered bird species. Fernando Angulo is coordinating the project in Peru. He told me about Segundo Crespo, a recently graduated, very enthusiastic biologist, but from a very humble background. Segundo will be searching for two endangered species in Peru for the next three months. Fernando said it was almost impossible to see through the bad binoculars Segundo was using. It seemed clear to both of us, that this is the kind of person Birders Exchange wanted to help. We presented him with this Birders’ Exchange binocular donation.

All the best
